Welcome to Incredibles NG!

This page is to help you feel involved and informed of everything that we do in Year 2. Please take the time to explore our class page where you will find lots of important information.

Let’s meet our 'incredible’ staff!

Miss N Grocott                          Mrs K Evenson                           Mrs M Robertson

This half term our topic will focus on the key learning challenge 'How have people like Rosa Parks helped to make the world a better place?' We will be basing our learning on the story 'I am Rosa Parks' by Brad Meltzer. We have lots of exciting and cross-curricular learning opportunities planned over the next few weeks. Our new topic will focus on history and the children will have the opportunity to learn about significant individuals and events from the past

Click on the illustration to listen to the story…

Each week we will have focus questions to explore and answer based around the key learning challenge. Let's take a look...

Week 1: What do you understand by the words 'famous' and 'discrimination'?

Week 2: Who were Rosa Parks and Nelson Mandela and why should we be proud of them?

Week 3: What rights do children love?

Week 4: How can we support people with disabilities?

Week 5: Reflection: Children to choose one person who has changed something for good.
